On 12 April 2011, Professor Dr. Her Royal Princess Chulabhorn Mahidol graciously designated Khunying Laxanachantorn Laohaphan as Her Representative to donate 4,640,000 Baht as well as basic necessities such as 1,100 plastic products, 4,400 plastic bottles, 2,000 flashlights and 500,000 bottles of drinking water to Mr. Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
