On 12 October 2010, Mr. Hu Zhengyue, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Peoples Republic of China, paid a courtesy call on Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya. Mr. Hu is currently visiting Thailand under the annual high-level exchange programme between Thailand and China, which is an important mechanism that strengthens relationship and coordination between high-level officials of the two foreign ministries as well as an important forum to exchange views on various issues at the bilateral and multilateral levels.
