On 24 February 2010, Mr. Thianchai Niyom, Mr. Siri Eiamchamroonlarp, Mr. Chairat Prasertlum and Mrs. Waewdao Limlenglert District Governors of Rotary International presented a donation of Baht 1,000,000 to Mr. Kasit Piromya, Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the Foreign Ministry. The contribution is a part of the financial assistance from the Thai private sector to help the victims of earthquake in Haiti. The Foreign Ministry will coordinate with the United Nations (UN) in channeling Thailands contributions to help Haiti accordingly.
