On 4 October 2007, during his last day at the 62th UNGA, Mr. Nitya Pibulsonggram, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the High-level Dialogue on Interreligious and Intercultural Understanding and the Cooperation for Peace, which aimed to build cooperation for peace, to reduce violence, to respect human rights and to diminish violence resulted from terrorism, both at the domestic and international levels. Foreign Minister Nitya also had a meeting with Mr. Ibrahim Gambari, Special Envoy of the UN Sec-Gen, who just returned from Myanmar.
