On 7 August 2007, Mr. Phan Wannamethee, Secretary General of the Thai Red Cross Society, presided over the ceremony to provide financial assistance for flood victims in the Peoples Republic of China. Mr. Phan Wannamethee handed over the cashier check in the amount of 200,000 USD to Mr. Zhang Jiuhuan, Ambassador of the Peoples Republic of China to Thailand, in accordance with Her Majesty the Queens initiative.
