On 28 June 2007, Dato Seri Syed Hamid bin Syed Jaafar Albar, Foreign Minister of Malaysia, paid a courtesy call on General Surayud Chulanont, Prime Minister, at the Ivory Room, the Government House on the occasion of his visit to Thailand as the guest of Thailands Foreign Ministry to co-chair, with Thailands Foreign Minister, the 10th Thailand-Malaysia Joint Committee (JC) hosted by the Thai counterpart. Afterwards, Foreign Minister of Malaysia met with Mr. Nitya Pibulsonggram, Thailands Foreign Minister, to hold a bilateral meeting at the Blue Room, the Government House.
