On 27 December, 2005, at the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Abdalla Ibrahim Abdulrahman Al-Hamar, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Thailand, called on Dr. Kantathi Suphamongkhon, Minister of Foreign Affairs, to present an invitation letter from His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa, Prime Minister of Qatar, to Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, inviting him to pay an official visit to Qatar at the time of his convenience.
