On September 12, 2005, Dr. Kantathi Suphamongkhon, Minister of Foreign Affairs, in his capacity as the ASEAN coordinator for ASEAN-US cooperation, co-chaired the Informal Meeting between ASEAN Foreign Ministers and Secretary of State of the US. The other co-chairperson was Dr. Condoleeza Rice, US Secretary of State. The Meeting was attended by other ASEAN Foreign Ministers at Hotel Waldorf Astoria, New York.
