H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait, on the auspicious occasion of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah’s taking oath as the 16th Amir of the State of Kuwait on 30th September 2020, as follows :

Excellency,

I have the honour to extend my warmest felicitations and best wishes on the auspicious occasion of taking oath of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as the 16th Amir of the State of Kuwait.

Thailand and Kuwait share a lot in common. Our two countries’ Foreign Policies are well grounded in the respect for the sovereignty of nations, the pursuit of peace and dialogue and the overarching goals of sustainable development. I admire Kuwait’s renowned humanitarian role and concur with Kuwait’s balanced Foreign Policy and her support to empower different regional and international institutions. I am confident that, under the new reign of His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, this tradition of enhanced network of relationships and friendships with the different countries and peoples of the world will live on.
