President of the Honorary Consuls Association (Thailand) and the Board of Council paid a courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, while the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister complimented the Association for its prominent and vigorous role, and shared the Government’s 5S Foreign Affairs Strategy and Thailand’s challenging and successful experiences in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On 24 September 2020, Mr. Sanan Angubolkul, President of the Honorary Consuls Association (Thailand), along with the Board of Council of the Association, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand. Mr. Tana Weskosith, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Mr. Chittipat Tongprasroeth, Director-General of the Department of Protocol, as well as the Ministry’s high level officials were also present at the event.

On this occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister commended the Association for being the most vigorous gathering of foreign honorary consuls in Thailand and shared the Government’s 5S Foreign Affairs Strategy (Security, Sustainability, Standard, Status and Synergy) and Thailand’s challenging experience in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic due to strong public cooperation and public health system, along with the dedication of the Head of Government and public agencies in tackling the situation, leading to Thailand's success in curbing the outbreak.
