On 18 August 2020, His Excellency Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, on behalf of the Royal Thai Government, made a contribution in the amount of 50,000 US dollars to Mr. Christoph Sutter, Head of Regional Delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Bangkok, to support ICRC’s humanitarian assistance activities in Lebanon following the tragic explosions in Beirut on 4 August 2020.

 

The Vice Minister also discussed with the ICRC representative about ways and means for further cooperation to support Lebanon in the future.
