Israeli Ambassador to Thailand paid a courtesy call on the Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs on the occasion of his assumption of duty in Thailand to discuss bilateral cooperation and exchange best practices and views on COVID-19 situation.
 
On 27 May 2020, H.E. Mr. Meir Shlomo, Ambassador of the State of Israel to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, on the occasion of his assumption of duty in Thailand.
 
Both sides emphasised the cordial bilateral relations between Thailand and Israel at both the government and people levels. They discussed means and ways to promote cooperation in areas of mutual interests, particularly labour, tourism, technical cooperation, and science, technology and innovation (STI). Both sides also exchanged their best practices and views on the spread of COVID-19, and expressed appreciation for the assistance rendered to their respective nationals during the crisis.
