     H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, sent a message of condolence to The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada and H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, sent a message of condolence to The Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, on the shooting incident in Nova Scotia, Canada, on 19 April 2020.

 

1. Message of condolence from H.E. General Prayut Chan-o-cha, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, to The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada

Your Right Honourable,

     I am saddened to learn about the shooting rampage in Nova Scotia over the weekend which claims many lives and injuries. On behalf of the Government and people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I wish to extend our deepest condolences to the Government and the people of Canada for this tragic incident.

     Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and friends of the victims and those injured by this senseless act. I trust in the resilience of our Canadian friends to overcome this difficult time with strength and courage.

     Accept, Your Right Honourable, the renewed assurances of my highest consideration.

     I am truly sorry to hear about the terrible shooting incident in Nova Scotia that devastates many communities and families in Canada.  

     In this moment of bereavement, I wish to extend my sincere sympathy and heartfelt condolences to Your Honourable, and through you, to the families of those killed or injured in the incident. My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Canada during this mournful time.
