On 24 October 2019 Consul-General Krit, together with Tourism Authority of Thailand’s Deputy Governor Somradee Chitchong, Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries Chairat Trairattanacharatporn as well as the board and management of Tourism Authority of Thailand opened Thailand booth at the Tourism Expo Japan 2019, organized for the first time in Osaka by Japan Travel and Tourism Association (JTTA) in association with Japan Association of Travel Agents (JATA) and Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO) at INTEX Osaka from 24 - 27 October 2019.

                        Renown as the biggest tourism trade event in Asia, Tourism Expo Japan 2019 draws 150,000 participants from over 100 countries and 47 Japanese prefectures. On this occasion, Tourism Authority of Thailand opened a booth to promote Thai tourism, from tourist attractions and accommodation to restaurants and hospitals, as well as organized business matching between Thai and Japanese tourist counterparts.
