On Friday September 20, 2019, Mrs. Chitrachawee Aroonrunglert, Consul, attended Thai Community Development Center (Thai CDC)’s 25th Anniversary Gala at Los Angeles City Hall, on behalf of the Royal Thai Consulate-General. Approximately 250 guests got a chance to meet with local dignitaries like Ms. Judy Chu, Congresswoman, 27th District of California, and Mr. Mitch O’Farrell, Los Angeles Councilmember, 13th District.

One of the most important parts of the event was award presenting ceremony in 9 areas, such as Lifetime Achievement Award (to Mr. Vibul Wongprasat), Philanthropy Award (to Mrs. Bui Simon, Angels Wings Foundation), Community Support Award (to Satterberg Foundation), Civil Impact Award (to Chef Pla and Chef Fern, Noree Thai Restaurant), and Posthumous in Memoriam Award (to Chef Tui, Jitlada Restaurant). There were also performances from Thai dance troupe and silent auction to raise fund for the Thai CDC.
