On 19 September 2019, H.E. Mr. Songphol Sukchan, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia welcomed the committee members of the Princess Maha Chakri Award Foundation (PMCAF) headed by Associate Professor Dr. Piniti Ratanukul along with the Indonesian Awardees: Mr. Mr. Herwin Hamid (the 2015 Awardee), Mr. Encon Rahman (the 2017 Awardee) and Mr. Rudy Haryadi (the 2019 Awardee). The delegation also held discussion with representatives from SCG and Banpu, Thai companies operating in Indonesia, on howc v Thai business in Indonesia can help to enhance visibility of the work of the Awardees and future collaboration projects.

The Princess Maha Chakri Award is a prestigious award presented to outstanding teachers of 10 countries in ASEAN and Timor Leste who have made significant impact to students’ lives.
