Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Organizations chairs the Meeting of the Working Group on the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development within the United Nations

On 30 October 2025, Ms. Cataleya Phatoomros, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, chaired the meeting of the Working Group on the Implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development within the United Nations, at Vithes Samosorn, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the participation of over 20 key government agencies in advancing sustainable development.

The Working Group was informed of the Thai Delegation’s role in the 2025 High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in July this year, which included the presentation of Thailand’s 2025 Voluntary National Review (VNR). The Working Group also considered the follow-up to the recommendations from the VNR to accelerate SDGs implementation in Thailand.

The Working Group discussed upcoming meetings and processes relating to sustainable development in 2026, including the preparations for the new cycle of the UN Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework (UNSDCF) in Thailand for 2027-2031.
