On 22 June 2023, H.E. Mr. Phan Chi Thanh, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

The Thai Foreign Minister expressed his appreciation for the Vietnamese Ambassador’s active role in promoting Thailand – Viet Nam relations, as well as his confidence that the Vietnamese Ambassador will continue to contribute to further strengthening the bilateral relations between the two countries.

Both sides took the opportunity to follow up on key bilateral issues, including the implementation of the “Three Connects” strategy to enhance closer linkages between the two countries’ supply chains, grass-root and local economies, and green growth strategies; activities to commemorate the 10th anniversary of Thailand-Viet Nam Strategic Partnership this year; trade and investment promotion; as well as people-to-people and educational cooperation. They also exchanged views on regional issues of mutual interest.
