On 18 November 2024, H.E. Mr. Russ Jalichandra, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, discussed with Mr. Igor Driesmans, Ambassador of the European Union to Cambodia and European Union Special Envoy for Myanmar.

On this occasion, both sides exchanged views on the situation in Myanmar and on the potential cooperation towards the shared goal of supporting a peaceful, stable and unified Myanmar. They reaffirmed their support for an inclusive dialogue, as well as humanitarian and development assistance for the people of Myanmar, especially in the areas of education and healthcare.
