Germany reaffirmed its strong support for the conclusion of the Thailand - European Union Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and recognized Thailand’s investment potential, particularly in the automotive industry. Both sides also agreed that amid geopolitical and global economic uncertainties, closer cooperation is essential. On this occasion, the Thai side sought Germany’s support for Thailand’s candidacy for a judge position at the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS), as well as participation in the Online Scams conferences to be hosted by Thailand this year.
