On 24 October 2022, Mrs. Vilawan Mangklatanakul, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, participated in the 32nd Informal Meeting of Legal Advisors during International Law Week of the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly held at the United Nations Headquaters, New York.

In her capacity as member-elect of theDeputy Permanent Secretary moderated a panel discussion during International Law Week of 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly for 2023-2027, the Deputy Permanent Secretary chaired and moderated the first panel of the 32nd Informal Meeting of Legal Advisors on the topic "Suspension/Termination of Treaties in the Situations of Armed Conflicts and Other Emergencies". She was joined by two panelists, Professor Duncan Hollis from Temple University, and Professor Dapo Akande from University of Oxford, who initiated the discussion on the applicability and adequacy of the current international legal framework.
