On 7 February 2025, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of Department of International Organizations, met with H.E. Mr. Ernst Wolfgang Reichel, Ambassador of Germany to Thailand. Also in attendance was Lieutenant Colonel (GS) Philipp Doert, Defense Attaché of Germany to Thailand and the Philippines.

​Ambassador of Germany to Thailand presented a letter from the Minister of Defense of Germany and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany to H.E. Mr. Phumtham Vejchayachai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence, and H.E. Mr. Maris Sangiampongsa, Minister of Foreign Affairs inviting them to attend the UN Peacekeeping Ministerial 2025 on 13-14 May 2025 in Berlin.

Both sides also exchanged views on UN peacekeeping operations, including the promotion of the Women, Peace, and Security agenda and Thailand’s pledge to support peacekeeping missions, as well as global issues of mutual interest.
