On 24 January 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy organised “The Tokyo Metropolitan Teien Art Museum Clean-up” community service activity on “The Auspicious Occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua Attaining the Same Age as His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok the Great (Rama I) 2025”.

H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, led 35 volunteers, including the officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand and their spouses, to neaten the museum’s main building, tea house and garden by removing fallen leaves. The activity attracted attention from the visitors who expressed their appreciation for the volunteers' efforts in keeping the museum premises clean and beautiful. Their contribution helps in the preservation and maintenance of the museum which is an important cultural heritage site in the Tokyo Metropolitan area.

              Additionally, 14 January 2025 is a highly auspicious occasion as His Majesty the King of Thailand reached the age of 26,469 days, which is the same age as that of King Rama I of the Chakri Dynasty. Therefore, Royal Thai Embassy opened the book of felicitations on the auspicious occasion of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua attaining the same age as His Majesty King Buddha Yodfa Chulalok the Great (Rama I) until 31 January 2025.
