On 12 May 2025, Mrs. Pimwadee Sovaratanapong, Deputy Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), and Lieutenant Sorawud Preededilok, Minister attached to TICA, attended a Dinner Talk as part of the Thailand Development Forum for Africa at the Amari Bangkok Hotel.

On this occasion, Mr. Yanapol Limpanachokchai, Vice Secretary-General of the Federation of Thai Industries, and Mr. Thum Niemskul, Head of the Africa and Middle East Regional Sub-Division, Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, served as keynote speakers. They shared insights into directions and opportunities of trade and investment between Thailand and Africa from perspectives of the public and private sectors. The session was followed by exchanges of ideas and information from African countries on economic, trade, and investment in Africa.
