On 1 June 2023, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, the Director-General of Thailand International Cooperation Agency had a meeting with Ms. Elizabeth Yee, Executive Vice President of Program Strategy, and Ms. Natalye Paquin, Chief Operating Officer, at the Rockefeller Foundation Headquarters in New York, USA.  Both sides took this opportunity to discuss cooperation in the areas where the Rockefeller Foundation has carried out development projects in Thailand and Asia, particularly on climate change and public health. The Director-General also pointed out that this year marks the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of the Rockefeller Foundation’s presence in Thailand. Therefore, TICA is ready to strengthen and support the collaboration between Thailand and the Foundation. The Director-General suggested that a meeting could be held with lined agencies, so that the Foundation could learn about possible areas of cooperation and to inform the Thai side of the application process for projects proposals.  The Executive Vice President also informed the meeting of her upcoming trip to Thailand in October, another opportunity to further expand cooperation between the Rockefeller Foundation and Thailand.
