On behalf of Thai Ambassador to India, Miss Pattarat and the Thai people, Mr. Thanawat Sirikul, Consul-General in Mumbai is honored to attend the Handover Ceremony of Donated Ambulances through “Maitri Thai” project. This great project, which was guided by the Venerable Ajahn Jayasaro, raised funds from his upasikas and fellow Thais to provide the people of India with ambulances and essential medical equipment to fight Covid -19. Altogether, 31 ambulances will be dispatched to different parts of India to help save lives.
Our appreciations for the hard works of Dr Harshadeep Kamble, IAS Development Commissioner Industries, Maharashtra, Mr. Anish Goyal, Managing Trustee, Aranya Vihara Trust, and Mr. Ajoy Lall, VP CVBU Operations, Tata Motors, Pune, who have greatly contributed to the success of this Project.
MaitriThai project is the testament of the close ties between the peoples of Thailand and India. We are humbled by the resilience and the resolve of our Indian brothers and sisters in their efforts to fight Covid-19. We are with you all the way. #staysafe #fightCOVID19
