On 10th November 2025, Ambassador Arurung Phothong Humphreys welcomed representatives from the Thailand-Sweden Parliamentarians Friendship Group at the Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm, also joined by Ms. Pittara Navarat , Minister Counsellor. The delegation was led by Mr. Chollathanee Chueanoi, Member of Parliament and President of the Thailand-Sweden Parliamentarians Friendship Group.

During the meeting, Ambassador engaged with the representatives on various important topics, including the multifaceted relations between Thailand and Sweden, Sweden's strengths, and the elevation of Thailand and Sweden relations to strategic partnership. The discussions also focused on key missions, projects, and activities of the Royal Thai Embassy, particularly in regard to the protection and welfare of Thai nationals in Sweden.

On 11th November 2025, Ambassador led the Thailand-Sweden Parliamentarians Friendship Group to a meeting with the Swedish Parliament’s Committees of Education and Health and Welfare, headed by Mr. Fredrik Malm, Member of Parliament, also joined by Ms. Pittara Navarat , Minister Counsellor. The discussions were constructive, with the Swedish side sharing insights on education policies, both for general and vocational education, budget allocation for education in urban and rural areas, education structure, and sustainable management of healthcare and welfare budgets. They also covered topics such as universal healthcare services, elderly care, and the integration of technology in the development of education and public health systems.

In the afternoon of the same day, Ms. Navarat and Mr. Artsith Katawetawaraks, Counsellor and Consul , participated in a discussion between the Thailand-Sweden Parliamentarians Friendship Group and representatives from ThaiWISE. The discussion covered topics such as enhancing the standards of Thai massage in Sweden, Thai berry pickers, related problems and challenges, possible solutions, and government support — with the aim of enabling Thai people abroad to sustainably make a living with dignity , pride and potential.
