Their Majesties the King and Queen of Thailand paid a visit to the Kingdom of Sweden at the invitation of His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden on the occasion of his 80th Birthday Anniversary, a significant event attended by monarchs, heads of state, members of royal families, and distinguished guests from several countries.

During the visit, Their Majesties proceeded to the Royal Palace in Stockholm to participate in important royal ceremonies, including the Te Deum thanksgiving service, the ceremonial changing of the Royal Guard, as well as official luncheon and State Banquet receptions held in honour of this auspicious occasion. The visit reflected the close royal ties between the Thai and Swedish Royal Families, as well as the longstanding and cordial relations between the two countries.

Throughout the period of their official engagements and movements to and from their residence, Thai nationals in Sweden and neighbouring countries continuously gathered to welcome and bid farewell to Their Majesties. Their presence reflected loyalty, admiration, and heartfelt gratitude for Their Majesties’ gracious benevolence.
