On October 29, 2025, H.E. Dag Hartelius, State Secretary for Foreign Affairs, visited the Royal Thai Embassy to sign the book of condolences for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, at the embassy premises. He was warmly welcomed by Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys.

After signing the book of condolences, the State Secretary engaged in a conversation with the Ambassador, expressing his deep sorrow over the passing of the Queen Mother. The Ambassador thanked him for his kind words and, on behalf of the Royal Thai government and the people of Thailand, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the message of sympathy conveyed by His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf and Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden to His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and the people of Thailand, mourning the loss of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Stockholm is open for the general public and Thai people to sign the book of condolences from 27 to 31 October 2025, between 09.30 hrs. and 16.30 hrs.
