On 21 October 2025, H.E. Arunrung Phothong Humphreys, Ambassador of Thailand to Sweden, held a productive meeting with Ms. Desiree Blomber, Secretary-General of Kroppsterapeuterna – the Swedish Association of Body Therapists. Also in attendance was Ms. Pittara Navarat, Minister Counsellor at the Royal Thai Embassy.

The discussion centered on potential areas of collaboration between the Association and the Embassy, with the shared objective of enhancing the standards of Thai massage businesses in Sweden. The aim is to empower Thai practitioners to operate with dignity and professionalism while advancing their knowledge and expertise in the field. Kroppsterapeuterna is a nationwide professional organization that represents practitioners in physical therapy and health promotion, including massage therapists, spa specialists, personal trainers, and physiotherapists. The Association boasts a membership of over 4,000 professionals across Sweden.
