On 20 October 2025, Ambassador Arunrung Phothong Humphreys, together with Mr. Natouch Thammanuruk, Counsellor, met with Mr. Tanakrit Sermsuksan, Founder of SEA Bridge — one of Thailand’s ecosystem builders — and Ms. Kotchakorn Khwamchareon, Head of Programs, New Energy Nexus Thailand. Both representatives from Thailand are participating in the Impact Pioneers 2025 program, organized by the Swedish Institute (SI) for the second consecutive year, which brings together 64 participants from various countries.

The Ambassador exchanged views on ways to enhance Thailand–Sweden cooperation in innovation development, particularly in supporting Thai startups and SMEs to gain access to Sweden’s knowledge base and innovation ecosystem. This collaboration aims to strengthen their competitiveness and increase Thailand’s overall economic value. The discussion also included sharing experiences from the Scaleup Impact! program (Cohort 1), jointly organized by the Royal Thai Embassy and Thai partner organizations from September 2024 to May 2025, and Cohort 2 which is in progress. The discussions also focused on activities that will further promote and strengthen Thailand’s ecosystem builders in the long term.
