Following the announcement of Office of the Sheikhul Islam regarding H.E. Mr. Aziz Phitakkumpon, the 18th Sheikhul Islam of the Kingdom of Thailand, who was receiving medical treatment under Royal Patronage at Chulalongkorn Hospital and returned to the mercy of Allah on Sunday, 22 October 2023, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs would like to express its deepest condolences to his family and to the Muslim community in Thailand on this sad occasion of his passing.
