Following the recent demonstrations in the Islamic Republic of Iran since 28 December 2025,

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been monitoring the situation in Iran closely and hopes that the situation would be resolved peacefully and return to normalcy at the earliest opportunity.

The Royal Thai Embassy in Tehran remains in close coordination with Thai nationals in Iran and stands ready to provide necessary assistance. Thai nationals in Iran are advised to exercise caution in their daily life and to avoid being near large gatherings or demonstrations as well as to obtain frequent updates on the latest information from credible sources and announcements made by the local authorities concerned.
