On 10 April 2026, H.E. Dr. Parnpree Bahiddha-Nukara, Chief Advisor and Special Envoy of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, attended the inauguration ceremony of the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar at the Myanmar Parliament in Nay Pyi Taw.
The Special Envoy paid a courtesy call on President U Min Aung Hlaing to convey the congratulations from the Prime Minister and the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs as a close and friendly neighbour country. He also expressed Thailand’s readiness to work with Myanmar to further strengthen the longstanding friendship and close cooperation, especially on security and economic cooperation for the benefit of their people.
