On 16 July 2025, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission, Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul attended the 17th Hana Global Family Award Ceremony, organized by Hana Nanum Foundation at Hana Financial Group Headquarter’s Auditorium. This event was aimed to improve the welfare of multicultural families in the ROK and to increase public awareness in the society on social integration.

The Royal Thai Embassy , Seoul congratulated Ms. Phitsamai Tancharoen, a Thai woman from Chaiyaphum Province, who has lived with her Korean family in Incheon for over 20 years. She has been taking a good care of her son and her husband's family throughout the years after his death shortly after their marriage. She is a generous and kind person who deserves to be honored and praised.

Minister Bancha also had a conversation with Mr. Lee Seunglyul, Vice Chairman of Hana Financial Group during this event and invited Hana Financial Group to consider doing business in Thailand to attract more South Korean investors to invest in Thailand.
