The Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, Association of Migrant Women's Center in Korea and the Nuad Thai Volunteer Association in the ROK enhance cooperation on Thai women protection

On 28 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador of Thailand to the ROK, together with the Thai Labour Office and the Nuad Thai Volunteer Association in the ROK, had a roundtable discussion with executives of the Association of Migrant Women's Center in Korea (AMCK), which came from various cities and provinces, including Seoul, South Seoul, Gangwon Province, North Chungcheong Province, South Chungcheong Province, North Jeolla Province, South Jeolla Province, Daegu, and Jeju.

Ambassador Tanee had a fruitful discussion with AMCK on the protection and support for Thai migrant women victims of gender-based violence. Both sides agreed to enhance their cooperation on protection of Thai migrant women’s human rights by providing contact details of all Migrant Women's Center in Korea to Thai communities in the ROK through the Embassy’s Facebook, website and social media.

Ambassador Tanee expressed his sincere appreciation to executives of AMCK for providing assistance to all Thai migrant women in the past years.
