Minister Bancha delivers congratulatory remarks at the 1st Meeting of Thai Student Association in the ROK in 2025, “The First Wind of Spring”

On 21 March 2025, Mr. Bancha Yuenyongchongcharoen, Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, was invited to preside over the opening ceremony of the 1st Meeting of Thai Student Association in the ROK in 2025, “The First Wind of Spring”, organised by the Thai Student Association in the ROK at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul. This event provided opportunities for Thai students who are studying in the universities in the ROK to build a closer and strong network.
 
Minister Bancha gave a congratulatory remarks focusing on encouragement for official registration of the Thai Student Association in the ROK and congratulated the Thai Student Association for successfully organising this event.
 
He also emphasised that the Royal Thai Embassy, Seoul, pursues the "3P" strategy, focusing on Economic Promotion (EP) to boost trade and investment, Consular Protection (CP) to provide consular services, promote Thai national protection and encourage the establishment of strong Thai communities in the ROK and Soft Power (SP) to promote exchanges of best practices between soft power of Thailand and the ROK.
 
Minister Bancha invited all Thai students and Korean students from Thai Studies Department of HUFS, who were participating in this event, to be volunteers of the Royal Thai Embassy in the upcoming Sawasdee Seoul Thai Festival 2025 (10th Thai Festival), which is scheduled to showcase Thailand’s soft power and creative industries in the ROK according to the Royal Thai Government’s policy during 6-7 September 2025.
