Ambassador Tanee Meets with Mr. Kim Yong Tae, Chairman of the Emergency Response Committee of the People Power Party

On 27 June 2025, H.E. Mr. Tanee Sangrat, Ambassador to the ROK, met with Mr. Kim Yong Tae, Chairman of the Emergency Response Committee of the People Power Party, at the National Assembly. Ambassador Tanee and Chairman Kim exchanged views on the means to foster closer cooperation between Thailand and the ROK through the National Assembly, including on economic collaboration, elevating trade and investment, pathways in resolving immigration issues, and the exchange of high-level visits.

Ambassador Tanee took the opportunity to engage with Chairman Kim on other issues such as the development of the two countries’ defence industries, tourism promotion, and cultural exchanges, and also thanked Chairman Kim, in his capacity as Member of the National Assembly for Pocheon-si and Gapyeong-gun, for taking care of the Thai communities in his constituency.
