On 7 August 2023, H.E. Mr. Saurabh Kumar, Secretary (East) of the Ministry of External Affairs of India, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, during the 7th Thailand - India Foreign Office Consultations (FOC).

Both sides expressed their readiness to continue working closely together to further strengthen bilateral relations and cooperation in all dimensions, with emphasis on exchanges of high-level visits, the promotion of regional connectivity, and the facilitation of trade and investment. Furthermore, both sides exchanged views on significant regional and geopolitical development, including the situation in Myanmar.
