On 22 February 2023, Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya graciously granted the Royal Donation of humanitarian assistance to help those affected by the earthquakes which took place in Türkiye on 6 February 2023. Her Excellency Mrs. Serap Ersoy, Ambassador of Türkiye to Thailand, as the representative of the Government of Türkiye, received the Royal Donation which comprised a number of canned foods, instant noodles, rice crackers, potato chips, wafers, crackers, sleeping bags and power generators.

On this occasion, the Ambassador of Türkiye to Thailand expressed her sincerest gratitude to Her Royal Highness’ generosity. Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand, also attended the Royal Donation ceremony held at the aircraft hangar, 601 Squadron, Wing 6, Royal Thai Air Force Base. Later, on 23 February 2023, a special flight by the Royal Thai Air Force delivered the Royal Donation to the Government of Türkiye at the Incirlik Air Base in Adana Province.
