the Royal Thai Embassy in Seoul, presided over the ceremony to donate 350,000 Baht (worth 12,195,000 Korean Won) to 5 private organizations in the Republic of Korea that have played an important role in providing assistance to Thai nationals who are in distress in the ROK, namely Uijeongbu Exodus, Pocheon Church, Rittanupharb Church, Ulsan Social Services Center, and Mission Center for Migrants in Daegu. Also present at the ceremony were Miss Menaka Thitasaro, Consul, and Mrs. Wanida Rungsimatavun, Senior Consular Staff.

The donation ceremony reflects the importance that the Royal Thai Government has attached to the role of these private organizations in providing protection for Thai nationals in the ROK as well as the Embassy’s appreciation for their dedication and hard work. In addition, it is also
an opportunity to strengthen a network with these organizations and encourage them to continue working with the Embassy to protect approximately 174,892 Thai nationals residing in the ROK.
