Deputy Permanent Secretary Chulamanee Chartsuwan participated in the 13th High-Level Round Table Meeting, reaffirming the commitments to deepening cooperation for resilient and sustainable recovery, and highlighting the successful outcomes of the 22nd Joint Commission of Bilateral Cooperation between Thailand and Lao PDR.

On 17 November 2021, Mrs. Chulamanee Chartsuwan, Deputy Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand attended the 13th High-Level Round Table Meeting, on behalf of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, via video conference. The Meeting was co-chaired by the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Lao PDR and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The meeting was attended by Lao PDR ministers, governors, diplomats in Vientiane capital and abroad, as well as representatives of international organizations and civil society.

Deputy Permanent Secretary Chulamanee highlighted the successful outcomes of the 22nd Joint Commission of Bilateral Cooperation between Thailand and Lao PDR, and reaffirmed the commitments to deepening cooperation for resilient and sustainable recovery and stronger people-to-people partnerships through Three-Year Development Cooperation Programme between Thailand - Lao PDR. As a long-standing and reliable development partner of Lao PDR, Thailand is committed to assist Lao PDR in graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) category in order to support its development goals in both the human resources and the institutional capacity development under the 9th National Socio-Economic Development Plan (NSEDP). The Deputy Permanent Secretary also expressed Thailand's readiness to continue close cooperation with Lao PDR during its ACMECS Chairmanship in 2022.
