The Minister of Foreign Affairs welcomed dignitaries and distinguished guests to the Inaugural Ceremony of the Legalization Office, Pathum Wan at Central World.

In today’s ever-evolving, interconnected world, individuals, businesses, and resources from all over the world are closely linked together for a variety of purposes, ranging from personal and professional matters, education, trade, investment and beyond. What emerges as a product of this present time’s interlinked activities is a growing demand for better access and more efficient consular services, especially that of the legalization of documents.

In response to this demand, coupled with the the commitment to fulfill its “Diplomacy for the People” vision to the public at-large, the Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, has decided to inaugurate a new Legalization branch office at Central World, bringing consular services, particularly the legalization service, closer to both Thai and foreign individuals and businesses alike, right at the heart of Bangkok.

As highlighted in the Minister’s remarks, opening a new office in Central World’s prime, strategic location at the heart of Bangkok’s thriving Central Business District (CBD) will allow us to offer easier access to consular services. This opening will significantly enhance and foster opportunities for both Thai individuals to better connect with their foreign counterparts, and for Thai businesses to better engage in trade and investment overseas, and vice versa.

The new Legalization branch office at Central World will not only serve the needs of individuals and businesses more effectively but is, in essence, also positioned to play a key role in facilitating and elevating Thailand’s greater integration and connectivity with the world.
