Permanent Secretary and Ambassador of Egypt to Thailand strengthened the cordial relationship, focusing on education, trade & investment as well as fishery. 

On 17 March 2021, H.E. Mr. Moustapha Mahmoud Moustapha Elkouny, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to Thailand, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Thani Thongphakdi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand. The discussion focused on ways and means to expand the bilateral relations between the two countries. Both sides agreed to promote cooperation in key areas, namely, (1) education; (2) trade and investment; (3) tourism; (4) culture; and (5) fishery, which Egypt wishes to learn from Thailand’s extensive experience and expertise.
