On 21 January 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided its sixth batch of humanitarian assistance from Thailand to the Ukrainian people in the amount of 5 million baht (approximately 160,000 USD), through the Thai Red Cross Society.

Mrs. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, represented Thailand in handing over the contribution to H.E. Mr. Tej Bunnag, Secretary-General of the Thai Red Cross Society, with Mr. Viktor Semenov, Chargé d’Affaires a.i. of Ukraine to Thailand, present as a witness. The Thai Red Cross Society will subsequently transfer the humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society for the procurement of electricity generators, medical equipment, and medical supplies in accordance with the needs of the Ukrainian people.

Thailand has continuously provided humanitarian assistance to the Ukrainian people in the form of financial contributions and relief supplies through various channels, including the Thai Red Cross Society, the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, the Polish Red Cross Society, and the United Nations Children’s Fund, which to date has amounted to a total value of 26 million baht (approximately 910,000 USD). Thailand also actively supports international efforts to bring an end to the conflict through various frameworks, including humanitarian demining efforts aimed at rehabilitating agricultural areas, through the Thai Civilian Deminer Association.
