Prime Minister of Kingdom of Cambodia to Pay an Official Visit to Thailand

On 7 February 2024, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony, are scheduled to pay an Official Visit to Thailand at the invitation of His Excellency Mr. Srettha Thavisin, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand. This would be the Prime Minister of Cambodia’s first Official Visit to Thailand.

During the Official Visit, the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Lok Chumteav Dr. Pich Chanmony will have a Royal Audience with Their Majesties King Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajiraklaochaoyuhua and Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana. Both prime ministers will have a bilateral meeting, followed by a signing ceremony of documents on cooperation between the two countries, a joint press conference, and an Official Luncheon to be hosted by the Prime Minister of Thailand and his spouse, respectively. The Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia is also scheduled to call on the President of the National Assembly and the President of the Senate of Thailand, as well as inaugurate a Thailand - Cambodia Business Forum in Bangkok.

The visit of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia is an important opportunity for both countries to further strengthen the bilateral cooperation, especially in the economic development of border areas, promotion of two-way trade and investment, closer transportation connectivity, tourism cooperation as well as fostering closer ties between the peoples of the two kingdoms.
