On 24 October 2023, H.E. Mr. Jakkapong Sangmanee, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Mr. Sarun Charoensuwan, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, attended the Violin and Piano Concert on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Hungary. The event was organized by the Embassy of Hungary in Bangkok at Sala Sudasiri Sobha, Bangkok.

The concert featured violin performance by Mr. Vilmos Oláh, renowned Hungarian musician, and Mr. Sittichai Pengcharoen, as well as piano performance by Mr. Nat Yontararak and Mr. Pana Yontararak. The visit to Thailand of Mr. Vilmos Oláh was also an opportunity to build a network between Thai and Hungarian classical musicians. This will enable both countries to pursue exchanges of musicians and bilateral cooperation in music in the future.

During the opening ceremony, the Embassy of Hungary also organized the handover of Hungary’s decoration to Ms. Pojjana Paniangvait, Director and Corporate Governance and Sustainability Committee, Thai President Foods, and President of the Hungarian-Thai Chamber of Commerce, for her role in promoting Thai investment in Hungary, as well as promoting Hungarian investment in Thailand.
