On 24 September 2024, Ms. Busadee Santipitaks, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, hosted a farewell dinner in honour of H.E. Mr. Juvêncio de Jesus Martins, Ambassador of Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to Thailand, upon his completion of duty.

In her remarks, Deputy Permanent Secretary expressed her appreciation to Ambassador Martins for his active role and participation in numerous activities to strengthen the bilateral ties between Thailand and Timor-Leste such as promoting development cooperation, the official visit to Thailand of the Foreign Minister and Cooperation of Timor-Leste in June 2024 and the signing of the Agreement between Thailand and Timor-Leste on Visa Exemption for Tourism Purpose for Ordinary Passport Holders.

Deputy Permanent Secretary took this opportunity to thank Ambassador Martins for his support to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand during his tenure in Thailand and wished for success in all his future endeavours.
