On 11 November 2024, H.E. Mr. Paisan Rupanichkij, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs, met with H.E. Ms. Kristiina Kuvaja-Xanthopoulos, Ambassador of Finland to Thailand.

Both sides discussed details of the Deputy Permanent Secretary’s upcoming visit to Finland to attend the Startup and Tech Conference “SLUSH 2024” in Helsinki with a delegation comprised of representatives from the Thai private and public sectors.

Both sides also exchanged views on bilateral relations, in particular tourism, mutual support for both countries’ candidatures in international organizations, and the progress of negotiations for the Thai-EU Free Trade Agreement and Visa Exemption Agreement.
