On 7 October 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Tokyo organised the ceremony in remembrance of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, Memorial Day, 13 October 2024, at the Embassy Hall. H.E. Mr. Witchu Vejjajiva, Ambassador of Thailand to Japan, presided over the ceremony attended by the officials of the Royal Thai Embassy and Team Thailand in Tokyo, along with their spouses. At the ceremony, the Ambassador laid a wreath and delivered remarks honoring His Late Majesty’s extraordinary contribution to the country and to the Thai people and led participants in paying homage to His late Majesty. On this occasion, the Royal Thai Embassy also organised Buddhist ceremony and activity, including chanting, meditation and food offering to the monks in order to dedicate the merits to His Majesty the Late King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.
